AK format resume writing hints:

1. SUMMARY - Write a sentence or two, but no more than one paragraph, that sums up your career qualifications.  There is no need to state an objective.

2. EDUCATION - If applicable, list the name of the college or secondary education school, year of graduation and degree received.

3. COMPUTER PROFICIENCY - List any software programs you are skilled with, i.e., MS Word, Excel, Outlook CAD programs, etc.

4. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES - List any certifications and licenses that are current and relative to your career, including safety certifications. Also, list date received.

5. TRAINING - List any trainings you have attended and dates of training.

6. JOB HISTORY - Please list your most current position in this format:

          Job Title, Date to Date

          Energy Client or Employer / City and State of job

          Name of Project / Scope of job and description of tasks performed.  If a pipeline, indicate length and                 diameter of pipe as well as product (natural gas, etc.)
